What's Your Three?

Years ago I was a nutritionist in clinical practice. The one thing I can tell you about all my patients, is that none of them were the same, nor did I put them on the same dietary supplement program. Rather, I used different methods to assess their lifestyle, current state of health, and their personal health goals. As a result, my patients ended up with different diet and dietary supplement programs personalized for their own unique needs. In my experience, this made a big difference in helping them to get the best possible results.

While it's true that established daily values for vitamins and minerals are the same for “adults and children 4 or more years of age”, do you really think that a 4-year old little girl and a professional football player need the same amount of vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, etc.? Of course not! Furthermore, do you think that someone concerned with their blood pressure has the same needs as someone who’d like to reduce their acne? Common sense dictates otherwise. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to dietary supplements. Product recommendations should be personalized.

So how do you know which dietary supplements you should be taking? Of course you can go see a nutritionist trained in the use of dietary supplements. But in case you don’t plan to do that, a good second option is to take the “What’s your three?” quiz. I developed this short and very simple quiz based on my knowledge and 40+ years of experience, to help identify the three dietary supplements most likely to help support your personal health and wellness goals.

At Twinlab, we want you to get the best possible results from the supplements you take, and the best way to help achieve that is to make sure you’re using the best supplements for you in the first instance. So go ahead. Take the quiz. I think you’ll like the results.
